Sonoma Valley Estate
This multi-acre property located in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country was historically part of a functioning horse ranch and commune. Grapevines have since replaced the walnut grove. An existing pond remains nestled amongst redwoods setting the laid back tone for the property. The owners envisioned a new rustic farmhouse to host family and friends with more modern interiors and amenities. Sited to capture the mountain and valley views, the house was designed for optimum functionality and flexibility of different guest combinations. Emphasis was placed on generous entertainment areas and privacy in the guest spaces. High ceilings, reclaimed wood beams, and white-washed paneled walls create an inviting lofty feel inside. A stand-alone one bedroom cottage provides additional accommodations.
