CahillStudio appreciates that designing a custom home is an extremely rewarding and collaborative endeavor; one that offers each client the unique opportunity to create beautiful spaces that reflect and support their relationship to their physical environment. As CahillStudio’s founder, Chris Cahill believes that the design process should be a pleasurable and rewarding experience; a home should be an expression of its owners and what they love.
CahillStudio distinguishes itself with designs that are appropriate for their sites and respectful of their natural settings. Modern in concept and detail, each program combines the fundamental elements of building design — site, structure, quality materials — with careful consideration of space and light. We believe that every one of our projects presents a distinct opportunity for innovative design that is site-responsive, and derived from a focused, collaborative process that embodies each client’s aspirations, desires, goals, and budget. Equally important, we recognize that success depends on excellent communication between the owner, design team, and builder.
Since CahillStudio’s founding, our skill, talent and passion have been centered on creating distinct residences that celebrate our clients’ diversity. In support of this, we leverage our professional partnerships with a talented group of artisans, craftsman, and builders by engaging them in the process from start to finish. This in turn introduces our clients to the possibilities inherent in design, which is a core tenet of our philosophy: a collaborative approach results in the discovery of the best solutions, and fosters the creation of spaces that enrich the day-to-day lives of our clients. This is the goal of our practice.
